Penny, I Miss You Skinnyfer...

I still have your bed and water ready for you baby girl if you ever want to visit, and your bed is in Dylanie's room.

Rest in peace Penny, I love you. You were the best dog I could have asked for, you were calm, snuggly, adorable, low-maintenance, quiet...you were the perfect little dog for me. I wish I would have snuggled with you more though, or even simply held you more often while I was online, I know you loved it when you could curl up on my arm while I was gaming... I hope you are happy and safe, I know you were getting older so I an at least take comfort in the fact that you will not have to suffer the pain of getting old and crippled... Still, I just wish I could have had a chance to tell you one last time that I love you and that you are the best dog ever... I don't truly believe in ghosts and hauntings, but just incase it happened to quickly and you don't realize you chased the bone too far (as my sister likes to call it) I left your big ol' pile of blankets sitting next to my night stand so that you can still curl up in them if you ever want to come back in spirit. We buried you at Grandma Jonie's because that was your favourite place to go, and Dylanie and I did not want to bury you in our back yard in case mom and dad move like they have been talking about wanting to...We always want to be able to visit you when we want to. We wrapped you in your big towel that used to be in your cage, though for the last year it simply laid beneath your bed in your room in the basement; we gave you some treats, and a picture of all four of us, Dad even put some cheese in there for you, Grandma gave you some chicken. I still can't believe you are gone baby girl...I know you are, I had to pick you up off the road, checked for any chance you could be alive...saw how much you were hurt...saw that you were bleeding from your mouth ears and nose... Valorie, one of Dylanie's teachers, said that the back of your skull was crushed, so she thinks it was instant...I hope it was...I hope you didn't suffer...you were such a precious puppy, though you were almost 13 years old...Gods and Goddesses above, I miss you Pennifer...and I love you...Please be ok, and I hope that I can see you again some day, even if it is years from now...
